1. Chinese were persecuted because they were having success and the Europeans weren't, that's why the Europeans kept on having riots. The Europeans also didn't like the Chinese because they dressed differently and they had a different haircut, the Europeans tried to rip out the Chinese people hair.

2. Over 2 000 Europeans started a riot and started killing the Chinese and stealing all their belongings. Some Chinese escaped the the Roberts farm on a hill where the Roberts helped treat the Chinese people's injures from the riots.

Chinese on the Diggings

The Chinese kept to themselves and went about their work. However, the Europeans distrusted them and were jealous. In Buckland River, Victoria, a mob attacked and chased away the Chinese chanting 'Let us drive the long tailed devils off, at once!'. Many Chinese were trampled, robbed or beaten. Even the government of the day didn't like the Chinese, making them pay taxes and making it hard for them to travel.

The Chinese kept what they were doing to them self and went by there own business. However, the Europens were them jealous and treated them poorly. In Buckland River, Victoria, a mob attacked and chased away the Chinese chanting 'Let us drive the long tailed devils off, at once!'. Many Chinese were trampled, robbed or beaten because they were different. Even the government of the day didn't like the Chinese, making them pay taxes and making it hard for them to travel.

1. The Chinese were treated very badly by the European miners, their appearance and clothes made them look different. Europeans were also jealous of the Chineseas they were persistent and found more gold.

2. 2 000 European miners attacked the Chinese, the police couldn't do anything to stop them. Belongings were stolen and some killed.

Chinese were hurt and bullied and teased because they were having success and the Europeans weren't, that was why the Europeans had riots. The Europeans didn't like the Chinese because they dressed differently and they had a long ponytail haircut, the Europeans ripped out the Chinese people hair. Which was a terribile thing to do

More than two thousand Europeans started a riot and killed the Chinese and stole all their belongings. Some Chinese escaped to the Roberts farm where they helped heal Chinese people's injures from the riots.

1. The European miners didn't trust them. They we're jealous of their success. They would be robbed, beaten or even killed. The government didn't seem to like the Chinese either as they would have to pay high taxes. They also judged them on how they looked and dresses.

2. The Europeans sent 2000 European miners to attack the Chinese. Some of the miners said that it seemed like more. The police would do nothing to help them. All the Chinese possessions where stollen. Even though it was hard for them they'd still come to Australia.

1. The Chinese were treated very badly during the gold rush because they found gold in places the Europeans didn't. The Chinese mined in abandoned mines and they found most of there gold in all the left over mine dumps. They also despised them for the way they looked, they had wide brimmed hats, pointy shoes, long plats (even the men) and they carried there equipment.

2. 2000 Europeans attacked the Chinese. The police
Would do nothing to stop them. They were pulling out all their hair with one rip and they also stole all of their possessions. Some were killed. Some ran away but some stayed on and started a family in Australia.

The Chinese where treated terrible and they should've been getting respect from the other people. The English didnt like them and judged them on what they look like because of their clothes and hair styles. They had pony tails and pointy shoes and big hats. Alot of them were beaten up. 2000 Eurpeans attacked the Chinese and some died! The police did nothing about it.

The Chinese were getting killed because they were always finding gold and the Europeans weren't finding any gold and that's why the Europeans would always attack the Chinese. The Europeans also hated the Chinese because they wore different clothes. The Europeans also would pull out the Chinese peoples hair.

More than 2 000 Europeans started a riot and killed many of the Chinese. They would also try and take all to Chinese's stuff.
